Who you are buying from

What you are buying

Each guide is a digital publication supplied as a PDF file. It is delivered by a personal download link sent to the email address given at checkout. The link expires after a limited period; if it expires before you have downloaded the guide, contact us and it will be reissued.

The guides are general information about gynaecological conditions and their treatment. They are not a consultation, they are not personal medical advice, and they do not create a doctor–patient relationship. Nothing in them should be used to make a decision about your own treatment without speaking to a clinician who knows your history.

Your right to cancel, and why you give it up

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase made online and receive a refund.

Digital content downloaded immediately is treated differently. That right is lost once the download begins, but only if two things happen first: you expressly consent to the download starting straight away, and you acknowledge that by doing so you lose the right to cancel.

That is why the checkout asks you to tick a box confirming both. You do not have to tick it — but nothing can be downloaded until you do, because without your express consent we are not permitted to start the download and keep the payment.

The exact wording presented at checkout is:

I consent to my download starting immediately, and I understand that I will lose my right to cancel this purchase once it does.

If a download link never worked, or the file was faulty or not as described, this does not take away your rights. Contact us and it will be put right.

Refunds

Price and payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never seen or stored by Morgan Gynaecology. Prices are shown at checkout in pounds sterling and include any tax due.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
